Testimony of Castilo M. from USA

I started my devotion to Blessed Pier Giorgio when I was going to make a pilgrimage to Turin, Italy to view the Holy Shroud. A couple of weeks before my trip, I looked up saints from Turin and Pier Giorgio was the first one that came up and his name came up often. I started a novena to him asking him to bless my pilgrimage and get me to Turin safely. It was wonderful because my first day there as I walked into the church of St. John that houses the Shroud, I was able to kneel at the tomb of Blessed Pier Giorgio to say thank you for getting me to Turin safely. His presence was everywhere in Turin. From there my relationship with him began and it has really taken off. It's funny because now I consider him my patron along with St. Gemma Galgani, both who are lay people and if they could reach the heights of heaven this gives me hope that I can too. I feel his presence around me constantly. Blessed Pier Giorgio pray for us!

Testimony of Ellen R. from USA

Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati has been instrumental in the formation of my teen/young adult children, as well as the many young adults I have traveled with to WYD in Cologne, and Poland. You cannot help feeling invigorated and renewed in your faith and your everyday life when you read about him and pray for his intercession.
God hears our prayers as we pray through Blessed Frassati everyday for a miracle for a young man with cancer, and another young man with a serious heart disease. He brings us hope, comfort, and love that we in turn are able to share with others. Blessed Pier is a shining light that has enriched our faith. He is an amazing example of selflessness, humility, and an unfettered joyful love for God. His exuberance, and love for the life that God bestowed upon him and others is nothing short of a miracle.

Testimony of Aine M. from Ireland

I first came to know Bl Pier Giorgio theough ny formation with the Lay Dominicans of Ireland during university.
He was a true inspiration to me as a university student, pushing me to commit to the Lkrd regardless of societys opinion.
He also taught me about "fun ministry" (or as we'd say in Ireland "craic ministry"). That as young Catholics we have a duty to have have fun, and show the world that the Church is a source of joy, not a block to it.

Testimony of Ellie J from USA

Blessed Pier Giorgio has helped me find peace or at least continue to try and find peace amidst my single young adult years and the confusion of not knowing God's "plan for my life". He has helped me continue to be faithful to the sacraments amidst doubt and disappointed hopes. Last spring I was reeling after a devastating break up and I had He opportunity to stay in pier Giorgio's summer home in Pollone. Wanda was generous enough to share a letter he had written regarding a young woman whom he had been interested in but was unable to pursue. It was a sweet gift that helped console my heart. I turn to blessed pier for assistance in choosing joy amidst a very difficult family situation and for continued growth in holiness through encounters with Gods people and His nature. I am inspired by blessed Pier Giorgio and have promised that I would do every thing in my power to be at his canonization when that day comes - I hope it is soon - as I know there are so many more young people who could benefit from finding a friend in him.
