Blessed Pier Giorgio's story has inspired me in so many dimensions of my own life! Family, friends, evangelization, treatment of the poor and needy, love, self-gift, humor, etc. It is amazing that someone that could soon be a saint could be someone my age, someone who struggled with similar things to what I struggle with, someone so relatable and accessible, yet so noble and good and worth imitating! His intercession has been so vital in my work as a FOCUS missionary on a college campus, sharing life and Jesus with students the way he did with his friends. Verso L'alto!
