I came to know him ever since when I was in High School when the Vice Postulator for his cause gave me a relic of Bl. Pier Giorgio contained in a card. Ever since then I cherish that holy card and considered him as one of those person I look up to. He inspired me to Love Jesus in the Mass and also serve the church as a choir member. Last month, my friends and I went on a hike towards Mayon Volcano, one of the active volcanoes here in the PH. I remembered him and realized that it was the First Day of the Novena before his Feast day. On the day of His feastday, while I'm praying the Lauds, I noticed that the 1st antiphon for that day somehow referred to Him. Right now, even though I'm working, I still devote my free time serving the Church and I was recently designated as Assistant Youth Leader in our parish, serving my fellow youth and letting them know the life of Bl. Pier Giorgio, inspiring them to serve the church. I'm also discerning my vocation right now, thanks to Bl. Pier Giorgio. I hope that He will be canonized next year.

Pier Giorgio is like a brother to my friends and I. I spent the last year serving as a missionary with NET Ministries, and my teammates and I adopted Pier Giorgio as our patron (almost) saint. We traveled thousands of miles across the country in a van, spoke to thousands of young people, and were absolutely exhausted most of the time, but through Pier Giorgio's intercession, we were able to maintain joy and remain faithful. We asked him to pray for us every day, and out prayers were certainly heard.

When I saw this link page about canonizing PGF, I had to add my opinion. Blessed Pier is my confirmation saint and ever since I had heard about his story, I knew that he was a saint that would stay dear to me. I am fortunate enough to go to a Catholic high school and I truly don't think I would know this man if it weren't for that grace.
I look up to this man everyday. I have bracelets, cards, keychains, and shirts dedicated to him because of how much he means to me. Two of the many things that I admire about him are his devotion to charity and his constant witness of the Lord. Even though he came from a rich and well known family, he always humbled himself in the little things.

Hello Pope Francis, I hope and pray all is well. I would like to ask if you are able to canonised Bl Pier Giorgio Frassati during the The Synod of Young People, The Faith and Vocational discernment in October 2018.
I first met Pier Giorgio Frassati through the book A Man of the Beatitudes by Lucianna Frassati. Little did I know that he would be the role model in my own daily life. He had an active lifestyle that included bringing people to the Church, advocating for the poor and mountain climbing. What Resonates with me is his ability to love the poor at a personal and social political level. It's by taking this approach with faith that we are able to love the poor which is Christ. I'm now pursuing my dream of loving the poor through education which will empower them to break the cycle of poverty. I still have a long way to go, but I know through Bl Pier Giorgio intercession he will allow me to make a difference through Christ that strengthens me.
My favourite quote by Bl Pier Giorgio "Modern Society is drowning in the sorrows of human passions and it is distancing itself from the ideal of love and peace. Catholics, we and you must bring the breathe of goodness that can only spring from faith in Christ."
