I came to know him through a friend who went on a retreat and learned about him. They centered their retreat on reaching for the heights in their daily and faith life. I looked into Bl. pier Giorgio and learned so much about him. I then felt connected to him as I love to help those in need, especially the homeless. I also love how he was a regular young adult at heart who loved to do outdoor things, such as rock climbing. I, myself, love to rockclimbin and doing outdoor activities. I then connected with him more and saw that Bl. Pier Giorgi as a role model for me to reach to the heights and beyond to help others along with going beyond myself to love God with all my heart. I look at him as a great guide to have a strong faith and show my love for God through helping others in service.

Pier Giorgio has been a powerful witness in my own faith life. His dedication to prayer has been influential in my own spiritual life. Yes, Pier Giorgio was a popular and charismatic young man, but the source of this personality was deeply rooted in a love of Jesus in the Eucharist. From this wellspring, Pier Giorgio evangelized the love of Christ in the world through actions that often spoke louder than words. He was a true missionary, a true disciple, a true man who lived in the world but was not of it. He is a model of virtue that men today, including myself, can look to for encouragement, inspiration, and hope. His canonization would not so much change the way in which he is so dearly viewed, but rather give him an honor that he has humbly earned through his commitment to Jesus and His Bride, the Church. Blessed Pier Giorgio has been an inspiring role model for my family while we were homeschooling our five children and we asked Blessed Frassati to be in charge of our physical education formation for a decade. Our two sons were on rugby teams and became rugby coaches at the high school and university level. Our daughters became champion Scottish Highland dancers. More recently, our foster son, whom we are adopting, is a teenager who has embraced the Catholic faith. He chose Pier Giorgio as his Confirmation Saint. Our fosterson is an altar server and the youth group he belongs to at our church has chosen, for the past two years, Pier Giorgio as their patron saint.

I heard Kevin Becker speak tonight at the Catholic Charismatic Center here in Houston, about his miracle that cured him of severe head trauma through the intercession of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. What a wonderful saint. He will be the male version of St. Therese "the Little Flower", for the simple and ordinary ways they both lived out their faith that all together formed a beautiful life. Proving that God is all-good and all-powerful.

The first encounter I had with Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati was being given a book of his to read while serving as a summer missionary for Lifeteen Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, Georgia, USA. The book was titled "A Man of The Beautitudes" and after reading several pages in holy hour, I was hooked. The life that this young person lived was on of such humility, strength, joy, and selflessness. He inspired me in incredible ways to continue serving God in my community back home in Gainesville, FL with the organization of the Catholic Gators, and return to Lifeteen for a second summer. I am still learning what a sacrificial life looks like as I transition from college to adulthood, but the story of Bl. Pier still gives me inspiration and hope. He is now frequently asked to intercede for me and my friends in my prayers and I hope that one day he can be a saint to inspire many more!

Blessed Pier Giorgio has inspired me to live daily for the Lord, even though I do not have my whole life figured out. I do not know what my profession will be or whether I'll be called to marriage or religious life. There are a lot of "maybes" in my life currently, but the Lord is always faithful. Bl. Pier Giorgio lived his life like that. He has given me confidence, as a friend would, when I felt utterly confused about where life was taking me. It's good to have friends in "high" places who remind you to have trust in God.

He has been such a good spiritual big-brother to me. He found me in college when I was beginning my journey back to the Lord. It was the summer before my senior year, and I was working with my brother out on a glacier in Alaska, giving dog-sledding tours. Over the course of the summer, I read about his life and his desire for holiness, and as I gazed upon the snow-capped mountains of the Yukon Territory, I felt my heart set ablaze for the love that this man had for God. It has been 10 years since I "met" Pier-Giorgio that summer, and he has been a constant companion ever since.

Blessed Pier Giorgio has showed me that it's possible to be a devout Catholic young man in today's difficult worldly times. He has been an example to me of what sanctity is and inspired me to strive for it. 

I am a member of the Frassati Fellowship of NYC, a young adult Catholic group under his patronage, which has helped me to grow in my faith tremendously. 

I am grateful that he was strong enough to answer God's call to be a holy youth, amidst opposition, giving me permission to do the same. Please canonize this man who has interceded for me on my path to holiness.

I came to know Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati through the Capuchin Sisters of Nazareth, in particular through my candidate mistress Sr. Grace Marie CN. She introduced me to Blessed Pier Giorgo Frassati because of our shared love of Our Blessed Lord and our shared love of Athletics. He is an incredible model of servant leadership and a perfect example of energy focused completely on loving the Lord and loving our neighbor. I love his youthful zeal and athletic nature, Verso Alto! I continue to ask his intercession in my vocational journey to becoming a Capuchin Sister of Nazareth.

I took 72 young adults to Poland for WYD and the most peaceful place I went to was next to the body of Frassati. He inspired me to come back and dedicate a lecture series about his life. Last Monday July 10, 2017, 650 young adults ages 18-39 attended the lecture series to learn about his Life. I invited Kevin Becker who had a miracle happened to him 6 years ago when he broke his skull and after his family prayed the novena he woke up and was 100% healed. During his coma, he spoke to Frassati who he had never met before. When Kevin spent two days at my home, I felt peace and felt the joy Frassatti used to have.
I have read two books in my life (I am not a reader) and his life was one of them. I feel his presence when I am working with young adults in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Finally, I asked for his intercession in a private matter not too long ago and he helped me with that intercession which prevented me from sin.
