Pier Giorgio is so inspiring, I love it when he said, "The higher we go, the better we shall hear the voice of Christ"! I knew of Bl. Pier Giorgio but not much about him until I worked at a Catholic summer camp this past summer. During the whole summer, but especially during staff training, I got to learn a little more about him, and his story totally blew my mind, especially how radical it was for him to do all the things he did in his time. He sets such a great example for all, especially the youth today, of leaving everything behind to follow the Lord, which is always hard, but especially now for the youth of our world.
